Chapter 24

Zariya, Chanae and the girls had just made it over to the playground. Right before they were even able to sit down Za’kiya was already yelling and trying to run off because she see someone she knew.

“Mommy look there go my daddy Nassir right over there, I want him!” whined Za’kiya as she pointed over to the basketball court by the benches were Nassir was standing with some chick in his face.

Zariya saw that and she was already on the move with Chanae and the girls’ right behind her.

“Aww shit it look like shit about to pop off” said Demarco as him and the fellas watch Zariya, Chanae, Kamyra, and Za’kiya make their way over to where they were.

Kalil looked up and saw what he was referring to and hopped up to meet them. He did not want Chanae getting into any bullshit while she carrying their baby. Za’kiya ran right pass him with Kamyra following behind her. “Hey Zariya what’s up?” he asked as he got closer to them.

“Hey Kalil nothing much about to go check and see what is up with your boy” she replied walking right pass him.

Chanae walked right up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist. Kissing her lips he parted them with his tongue and let their tongues explore each other’s mouths. Breaking the kiss so they both could catch their breath Kalil then kissed her forehead.

“What are you guys doing here other than Nassir standing there with some chick in his face about to get cursed out?” laughed Chanae.

Laughing Kalil replied with a smirk on his face. “We just came here to chill and watch the boys play some ball. We about to go grab something to eat in a minute though, have you eaten anything yet?”

“Well not really” she smiled at him.

Stepping back from her he looked her dead in the eyes. “What the hell you mean not really Chanae and do not try to hit me with that smile.”

“Baby I ate a bagel at mom’s house earlier and that is it.”

“That ain’t shit Chanae you have to eat better than that not just for you but for the baby too” he said as they looked over at Nassir stepping in between Kita and Zariya. They started walking over towards them to see what was going on.

“I do not think I was talking to you I was talking to MY man thank you very much.” Zariya said to Kita who had the nerve to speak to her about being rude for speaking while they were talking. She did not give two fucks what they were talking about her being in his face was enough for Zariya to step in to break that shit up.
